Damavand!
|
|
Photo taken from Mt. Damavand (5671m).
July 2004.
It was on the foot of this legendary mountain that Zahak the Dragon King was finally defeated by the hero Fereydoon, in Persian mythology.
Beneath this ocean of clouds, there is a prairie of yellow flowers. Look at the entry on 27-Jun-2004.
Mt. Damavand with its beautiful prairies has always been a Symbol of persia.
